CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“I am a mother of three with a demanding job that requires me to sit at my desk for hours on end. I suffered from neck, shoulder and back pain and I just felt stiff constantly.  A pricey ergonomic standing desk, expensive memory foam pillows, visits to the osteopath and massages provided some temporary relief but nothing seemed to last.

After having weekly, sometimes bi-weekly sessions with Charlotte for over a year, my neck and shoulder pain have not miraculously disappeared BUT I am now much more aware of when my body needs a break and how to provide it with the relief it needs. I have only had to visit my osteopath once and she was so impressed at how much more supple my body is. In her words, “this is not the same back”.

One of the aspects that I absolutely love about my yoga therapy sessions with Charlotte is the emphasis on movements that have practical utility in everyday life. It is not about striking an impressive yoga pose, or being aligned on a perfect straight line but rather, working on movements that have practical functionality and moving in a way that is beneficial for my body.

Charlotte has a deep understanding and knowledge of the human body. Throughout the sessions, she has taken the time to get to know my body's idiosyncrasies, understanding which areas need strengthening and which areas are over-compensating for others. This level of individualised attention and insight has been instrumental in helping me develop a greater understanding of my own body and its unique needs.

In addition to the physical benefits, my yoga therapy sessions have also had a profound impact on my mental and emotional well-being. The incorporation of breathwork and guided meditation has helped to find inner peace when I overwhelmed and operating in survival mode. My inner voice has become less critical and more calm.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a compassionate and knowledgeable guide on my journey towards wellness. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlotte to anyone seeking to improve their strength and mobility through a practice that is sustainable and enjoyable.”
