YOGA THERAPY FOR STRESS - AN ONLINE PROGRAMME

 

The purpose of this programme is to help you learn ways to reconnect to your body and regulate your nervous system. Each class will have 7 key components - psycho-education, orienting & centering, conscious breathing, vagus nerve stimulation, mindful movement & meditation and rest. Through the integration of the ancient teachings of yoga with the neuroscience of trauma you will discover how to listen to your needs with compassion and curiosity, how to hold space for uncomfortable feelings and release tension naturally and how find safety within your body and trust your own intuition.

The classes will be run online and there will be two classes a week - Monday 12 - 1pm and Wednesday 5 - 6pm.

The classes will be kept deliberately small to offer greater connection within the group and you will receive weekly hand outs with practices to follow at home.

Especially when it comes to trauma, many of the emotional issues we need to heal require deeper healing practices beyond what we do with our brains. The body is a key link to processing trauma
